A Lasagna Recipe with Barbecue Pork Sauce
This lasagna recipe tastes great and is easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
* 2 containers of pork in barbecue sauce
* 1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1 package of shredded Cheddar cheese
* 1 container of ricotta cheese
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 1 egg
* 1/2 tsp of salt
* 1/4 tsp of pepper
Steps:
We are going to prepare the barbecue meat sauce for the first part of this lasagna recipe. In a pot, pour in the pork in barbecue sauce and bring it to boil over medium fire. Let the sauce simmers and keep it warm over low fire.
Next, we are going to prepare two types of cheese. For the cheese mixture, add in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl and mix them together. For the cheese sauce, add in the ricotta cheese, egg, salt and pepper in another bowl. Beat the cheese until it is creamy.
Now, we are going to cook the lasagna noodles. Boil a pot of water and add in salt. Cook the noodles until they are cooked through, and drain away the excess water.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and oil a baking dish. On the bottom of the dish, spread a layer of barbecue sauce. Cover the sauce with three lasagna noodles and spread 1/3 of the pork in barbecue sauce over the noodles. Next, spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture and cheese sauce over the pork. Cover the cheese with the second layer of lasagna noodles and repeat with the similar pork, and cheese layers. Top off the lasagna with the final layer of noodles, and spread the remaining of the pork barbecue sauce and cheese sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle the cheese mixture for the last layer. Save a small portion of the cheese mixture.
Bake the lasagna for 40 minutes. Sprinkle the leftover portion of the cheese mixture and bake for another five minutes for the cheese to melt. Let the lasagna cool for ten minutes and you are ready to serve the dish.
