No Fears, Just Tears of Joy for Monster High Dolls
Terrifying legendary monsters and villains don’t seem to be quite as scary today, especially now when you imagine them as fathers. Yes, the creatures that haunted children and have given many kids nightmares are the “Dads” of Monster High teens. There’s Frankie Stein, Frankenstein’s baby girl; Dracula’s ancient daughter, Draculaura, and many other interesting characters which Mattel has given life to in its new collection released during mid-2010 called the Monster High Dolls.
The Monster High Dolls may be the sons and daughters of monsters, but you won’t see them in cloaks, robes or wearing pointed hats. They don’t even hide from the sun. They just need a good umbrella, like what Draculaura often carries. They’re not normal, but they try so hard to blend in. So, you’ll find them fashionably attired all the time. The Monster High toys first released included six dolls: Draculaura; Frankie Stein; Lagoona Blue, the blue-skinned daughter of the Gill-man of the Creature from the Black Lagoon; Clawdeen Wolf, a werewolf’s trendy spawn; Cleo de Nile, a mummy’s exquisite daughter; and Deuce Gorgon, the son of powerful villain, Medusa. They are sold individually, but Monster High sweethearts Deuce and Cleo, come as a play set. Each doll is packed with their own pet, accessory, brush, stand and diary. If you get the regular doll, the diary that comes with it contains codes to unlock special games and activities in the Monster High site. There are also adorable plush versions of these dolls.
The Monster High Dolls are so unique and so much fun. These beautiful monsters are well-liked by kids and adults because these ghouls aren’t perfect. They have the same troubles like us, and the same dreams, too. Because these characters are just so relatable, it can be expected that the dolls’ fan-base will just grow larger in time.
