The Surrette Battery and Solar Power
Solar power is quickly becoming something that is on the minds of people the world over. It is no secret that there will no longer be any oil at some point in the near future, and when that day comes a different and renewable energy source will hopefully be ready to fill the gap. The benefit of using solar power is that it is so readily available, and it also comes is large enough quantities that humankind could be using it to power the whole planet for as many years as it takes for the sun to burn out–which is billions and billions of years from now.
The one problem that currently exists with solar power is that we have not yet figured out a way to efficiently harness the energies; the solar panel is not going to be able to save everyone in its current state. Solar technologies are getting better and better everyday. The surrette battery is currently claimed as the best solar battery in the business. While most batteries are focused on a certain amount of wattage, and last for only a handful of years with a charge, the surrette battery surpasses both of these items of interest.
A Surrette battery can last easily for ten years, and in this way it is clear that this battery was designed for uses in a world where renewable energy sources are the norm. Most batteries are simply around to store sunlight’s energy for a small amount of time. Not to mention, the surrette battery is also capable of adapting its accepted wattage amount to numerous amounts. This means that if you decide to change or upgrade certain aspects of your solar powered system, your battery will be able to stick with you.
After all, is it can last for ten years, then you will probably not want to have to change it out if you buy some different solar panels or cables. There are still many people in the world who are not worried about the crash of oil and the need for solar power, but that is becoming more and more apparent as denial. Oil is a finite material, and that is not something that can be argued; there will simply not be any oil at some point in the near future. We must turn to solar power because it is the only thing that comes in a large enough amount that it could actually replace the energies produced from oil.
Nuclear power will be no good, because it too is reliant on finite materials, and things like wind power will simply never be able to generate the amount of energy that is required to run the world as it is. We are all simply too used to the amount of cheap energy that is available to us right now. In the future, we will either have an energy source that is equal to oil, or we are all going to have to get used to having very different lives. The energy crisis is something that it is still heavily ignored, even though it is more important than any other crisis that we currently face. Some people are worried about global warming or pollution, but that will take at least 100 years to have any kind of serious effect on the environment.
Oil will be running low enough to effect life in every country on Earth in the next twenty to fifty years–these numbers are agreed on by several experts and top minds in fields of both the oil industry, and geology. We should not fear the change or deny it; the key is to realize that it is coming, and then work as a whole toward solutions.
